Amazing hand-quilted vintage textiles. Beth spent an entire day with the proprietors of this store and selected the best of the best! The men at the shop spent hours flipping through four-foot-high stacks of antique quilts. The backs of the blankets are just as interesting as the fronts!
These quilts were pieced together by hand from scraps, and each contains many layers of fabric which are hand-stitched to keep the layers together. In many cases, the quilt has been so well loved that the top layer of fabric has worn down and you can see the inner fabric coming through; this creates the most amazing and unique texture, and the feel of the blanket is incredibly soft!
Every quilt has been laundered and is ready for its place of honor at the foot of your bed, on the back of your sofa, or on your wall as a one-of-a-kind work of art.
